The house is all tarted up!

I love this time of year - the house is all tarted up for the holidays, I get to drink my morning coffee out of a mug with a Christmas tree on it, it makes me smile just to look around, and the Thanksgiving leftovers are still good :-) Speaking of morning coffee, I have discovered the joy of pumpkin spice coffee with a little cream and stevia! Mmmm - it tastes like pumpkin pie!

It's been a while since I have posted, so I thought I would see if I could even remember how. Life is still awesome...my work is still very part time, just the way I like it. I am feeling terrific, and powerful - up to a dozen or so hill sprints in a workout these days...in fact I will be out there in a couple of hours to do just that - luckily it got up to 40 degrees or so yesterday so the hill is not slippery this morning!

I still catch myself wanting to go up to people I do not know, who look miserable, and offer my services to help them to be happy, but I know that it is darn near impossible to answer a question somebody isn't asking, so I go on my merry way. I almost feel like Scrooge on Christmas morning - "I don't deserve such happiness!" but then I remember that of course I do - and so does everybody else. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone figured that out? I think it would be mind-blowing!

Spent last evening playing Text Twist with some friends and the benefit of a couple of glasses of Pinot Noir. Really fun. Got to enjoy their perfectly lit beautiful Christmas tree.

I have a little hospital of broken ornaments that need some attention this week, a party to finish planning for, and a couple of other things that need to get done, but nothing worth procrastinating over. Ain't it great!
