Spring
Okay, I have to admit, when we got the last snow storm a week or so ago, I was ready to scream...but it's all gone except for the remains of the shoveling piles out by the boulevard and front yard, and a few patches in the back. The labyrinth is completely available and needs virtually no maintenance (last year, I bricked the path borders - a gargantuan task that has already paid me back in freedom from maintenance) and it is lovely. Every now and then I check my address on Google Earth to see if they have updated photos to include my labyrinth...not yet. It does make me smile to see it. The daylily shoots are abundant - they don't care if there is still a little old snow laying around. 'It's spring for crying out loud - let's get on with it'- you can almost hear them say. The sun is out, the sky is blue - it will get into the 50s today and all week - life is really good! Enjoy.

Rain Eats Snow!
Say that headline like you would GodZilla Attacks Tokyo!
Now you have an idea of how happy it makes me to see the rain falling today...usually not one of my favorite weather patterns. My snow pack is down to about 7 and 1/2 inches since 3/17...that's with weather in the 40s and 50s and plenty of sun. I would have thought we'd be closer to grass by now. I measured this morning, it's been raining overnight - yesterday it was closer to 10 inches. So I am happy about the rain today.
I am finding it easier to keep my equilibrium when events - global, national, local and personal - are challenging. Be the change, said Ghandi or is it Gandhi? I have been using the Psi Ball technique I mentioned the other day. It is an amazing tool to help you focus good feelings toward whatever could be troubling you. And it just plain feels good, so it is certainly worth the effort.
My son returns to his college life today. This is really his last spring break as he graduates this year. I remember how that felt for me, back in the day...how those years just flew right by. Of course they all fly by, and that's alright. Especially as I enjoy them as they fly. I hope you are enjoying your life as it flies by. If you aren't so far, start. Decide. Make it so!

Only a Foot of Snow Left
Here it is, St Patrick's day - the middle of March, for crying out loud and we have a snow pack that is finally down to just a bit over 12 inches. I had to measure it this morning because it was in the 40s or even maybe 50 degrees yesterday, with more warm predicted for today and I wanted to see how fast it will melt. Of course, the piles of snow by the driveway are still almost 5 ft high, preventing any kind of visibility when backing out of the driveway, but so far, no problems with that. I think we will have snow out there til June. But in my south facing back yard, I am hoping for green by April. I am happy to live near the top of a hill as there will be lots of flooding around these parts this Spring. Yikes.
Today, it is my intention to send lots of love and light to Japan (as well as a donation) and to recommend you head over to http://tinyurl.com/tut07 to pick up Infinite Possibilities at 70% off, in honor of St Patrick.
Also, google Evolution Ezine and learn how to make a Psi Ball. Very cool stuff.
I've been noticing lots of frowns on people these days, as they are driving or walking or shopping or whatever. Makes me want to smile more. I hope you are smiling. Have a great day!

Happy is Still Driving
Speaking of driving, I had the opportunity to spend 8 or 9 hours in my car the last couple of days, driving to the middle of nowhere to do a presentation (and back). It was awesome! The sun was beaming down the whole time, I saw a pair of eagles soaring overhead around mile marker 80, enjoyed listening to an audio program in my car that always makes me feel terrific, had a successful presentation, rocked my 5 inch heels with no slipping on hazardous icy stuff, had good hair, and looked amazing! I even got a little lost and took a couple miles off my trip! Wow! Talk about your harmonic convergence! ha ha ha
Ever have times like that, where everything falls into place? It feels so good. So then, what you do, is really appreciate the living hell out of it! mmm-mmm-good. Campbell's Soup at least go that right. But don't eat their soup - make your own! Oh, go ahead and eat it if you want...but yours would be better.
Here's a link to get that audio program if you want. It's called Infinite Possibities by Mike Dooley and it is definitely a keeper!

Exercising
Another part of a happy healthy life is finding a way to exercise that minimizes your time involved in it, and maximizes you results. Click the link above to learn about one of the types of exercise I use to stay happy and healthy!!! It's called Turbulence Training, and I wish I would have found it back in my 20s! But it works even if you are in your 50s!

Eat Stop Eat
I have been following Brad Pilon's Eat Stop Eat for quite a while now, and thanks to him, have tamed the hunger monster and become sane around food. It is a big part of the happy healthy life, to be sane around food. If you are interested in learning more about it, click the link below.

She's Walking!
Yesterday, I went to my friend's house to spend a little time with her 1 year old (actually 13 months now) daughter. I do this once a week for a couple of hours so we can chat, and Mom can get stuff done and I can play with the baby. Here in St Paul, the day was misty - warmish (40s) and the snowpack was evaporating, dreary...and I knew that a smiling baby face would be just the thing. Imagine my delight to get there and witness the little one actually walking! A new skill, just picked up the other day - so my first glimpse of her walking. Just what the doctor ordered. Oh she was so proud of herself!
We played a little hide and seek with my cell phone, and read a bunch of books. She is just a treasure! I love that I get a couple of hours with her every week. Turns out that this week, I even get to babysit her on Sunday, as long as the potential winter storm in the forecast is wimpy. We'll see.
Today, I get to take my 80 year old aunt and uncle for a walk in the mall. Might even have to pick up a pair of ferocious red shoes I spied there last week. This little habit of walking the mall on Fridays could get expensive! Good thing I'm rich!
I love my life!
and the coffee is delicious.
Have a great day
